Hardik Pandya set to be out of action after back surgery !!!

Hardik Pandya has undergone a lower-back surgery in London, it was confirmed on Saturday (October 5). The India all-rounder has been troubled by the injury for quite a while now and was rested for the Test series against South Africa.

He did play the two T20Is in Mohali and Bangalore before travelling to the United Kingdom. There has been no update about the duration the allrounder is going to spend away from the game.
The 25-year-old had recovered well to participate in the World Cup but complained of discomfort after the South Africa T20Is. He was assessed after the Bangalore game and was then asked to undergo the surgery.
The injury was first sustained in the Asia Cup last year in the clash against Pakistan when he fell at the bowling crease. He was stretchered off the field and has had his injury managed for quite a while. After the gruelling World Cup campaign, Pandya was rested from the tour of West Indies where India played three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests. He was also ruled out of the T20Is and ODIs against Australia at home earlier this year because of lower back stiffness.
