Rangana Herath ; 400 Test wickets !!!

                 

Srilankan magician , Herath became the first left arm spinner to get 400 Test wickets. He overtook Makhaya Nitini and became the second Srilankan to pick 400 or more wickets in tests. He also became the 14th overall bowler to achieve the feat.

             

The list is currently topped by Murlidharan of Srilanka who completed 800 wickets in December 2009. He is followed by Shane Warne of Australia with 708 wickets.

             

Herath's 400 scalp was Mohammad Abbas, who was adjudged lbw in the 2nd innings of first test against Pakistan. He picked up 11 wickets in the match to help Srilanka nudge ahead Pakistan and take a 1-0 lead in 2 match series.
