Umar Akmal banned for three matches,whichever comes first !!!

       

Umar Akmal has been banned for three matches,either domestic or international whichever comes first, by the Pakistan Cricket Board today in response to his outburst against the Head Coach Mikey Aurthur.

           
Besides the ban, he has been dented with a fine of 10 million. Also, he will not be granted NOC by the board to play foriegn leagues for a period of two months.

           
"PCB chairman upon his return from abroad has reviewed the report on Umar submitted by PCB's Disciplinary Committee. Umar Akmal had appeared before the committee to explain why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for allegedly violating clauses 2.2.5, 4.1 and 4.4 of his central contract," stated the board.

           
Umar Akmal was earlier selected for Westindies tour but was found wanting on fitness and was sent back. After that he was also selected for Champions Trophy but was again left out on fitness issues.
