Hafeez ignored, Riaz recalled for Srilanka tests !!!


Pakistan Cricket Board today annouced the 18-man probable squad for the upcoming 2 match series against Srilanka in UAE.  While the veteran paceman Wahab Riaz earned a recall to the side, all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez doesn't feature in the squad.
Hafeez was expected to make a comeback to the side after his small but useful performances in the Champions Trophy 2017 and CPL 2017. Though, he hasn't been a regular in the side and has been in and out of the team. He last featured for Pakistan in tests in June 2016 and from there on was dropped from tests in Australia, Newzeland and Westindies.  He was also not selected for the Independence Cup.
           
 Meanwhile, Wahab Riaz was part of the Paksitan team for CT 2017 but played only one game as he twisted his ankle in the very first game against India. He achieved full fitness and featuted in Caribbean league for Barbados but wasn't selected for Independence Cup. Opener Sami Aslam is back into the side after he was dropped after Australia series.

Azhar Ali, Shaan Masood, Ahmed Shehzad, Sami Aslm, Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, Haris Sohail, Usman Salahuddin, Sarfraz Ahmed, Muhammad Rizwan, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Asghar, Bilal Asif, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Aamir, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Abbas and Mir Hamza.
