Essex crowned Champions of County Championship !!!

                                 

Essex with 209 points until now have been confirmed the championa of County Championship.They have been tremendous this year, considering they were relegated in 2010 and stayed there till 2016. They were promoted last year and became Champions this year. They were captained by Ten Deshchote and their main performers were Nick Browne with 1011 runs and Simon Harmer and James Porter with 68 and 65 scalps respectively.

                 
 They won their last title in 1992 under Graham Gooch with Mark Waugh in their ranks.They won the title despite missing services of Amir,Cook and Westley at crucial times and forced to feild younger players.
                 
 Last year champions Middlesex ended sixth after they were frustrated by rain, which forced them a draw against Hampshire.
