Afridi to lead Dhaka Dynamites in BPL 05 ; rejects global league contract !!!

Former Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi will lead the defending champions of  BPL " Dhaka Dynamites " in the upcoming edition of  BPL. He was the part of Rangpur Riders in the previous edition whereas he has the experience  of leading sides in this particular tournament having already led Sylhet Sixers in fourth edition.
                
This news comes as a huge relief for the franchis owners and fans as there was no sureity of his participation as he was included in the draft of Global T20 league but Afridi cleared the air with his tweet that confirmed his participation:-
        

Afridi is not the only player for which the BPL franchises were concerned as Fakhar Zaman was signed by Comilla Victorians but said that he will take part in Global league if picked. Junaid Khan was also signed by Khulna Titans and was also drafted in Global League. Though, he confirmed it later that he will represent Khulna Titans.

Former skipper of Pakistan Misbah-ul-Haq will captain Chittagong Vikings, which made the top four last year, as Tamim Iqbal opted for a change of franchise. Dhaka Dynamites were the eventual winners of last edition of BPL.
